EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND OF MEMBERSI have just got a Bachelor of Science (Honour) in Psychology degree and i have previously done an access course, which contained psychology, sociology, business studies and IT. I have completed a local history research course at degree level and i have gained a certificate on completion of the British investigators training course in Anomalous Phenomena (BITC) and Parapsychology unit B1 (see MAPIT web link for info on course taken) I will provide certificates if asked for any of the above qualifications. I am also a student subscriber member of the British Psychological Society.
We current have members that have ‘A’ level psychology and business studies, diploma in Information Technology, a Degree in childhood studies, BA Hons degree in Cultural Studies (containing psychology, art and culture), certificate in field archaeology and landscape history, City and Guilds in conservational and countryside recreation, City and Guilds in engineering, Certificate in child care and education, 1 member that is a first Aider and a qualified hairdresser.
Courses being studied by 2 member at the moment are the British investigators training course in Anomalous Phenomena (BITC) and Parapsychology unit B1. One member has passed the course and two members are planning on doing the advanced course in 2008.
This shows that we have a good mixture of people in the group and it shows as a group we do look for the logical and rational explanations as well as the paranormal explanation.
